Extension of a permit
If you need to extend your permit you pay the same amount as for an initial application.
Only one fee
If you are applying for both a residence permit and a work permit at the same time you only need to pay one fee.
Payment
You must pay the fee when you apply at an embassy or consulate.
When you apply for an extension or as a longterm resident you pay when you visit one of the Migration Board offices. You can also pay using the postal giro system.
If you pay using the postal giro system, it is important that you state in the box ”Message to the payee” the forename and surname of the person to whom the application fee refers as well as the person’s civic registration number and/or case number.
If the fee is for several persons, you should state the civic registration numbers and/or case numbers for all the persons.
